How to build quick muscle is probably one of the most frequently asked questions by most people who are just getting into the weight lifting scene. Most of these people are looking to add as much muscle as they can while keeping down the fat. Well doing so is not as hard as you might imagine. All it requires is to follow specific guidelines and be as disciplined as possible. Here are some strategies to help you put on quick muscle mass is the shortest amount of time possible.

1) Lift hard and intense:
If you are really serious about putting on muscle mass that you are going to have to workout like a beast. You can’t expect to lift like a wuss and see muscle gains like Brock Lesnar. You will have to lift heavy weights to give your muscles a reason to grow. Also focus more on quality reps with proper form rather than quantity to maximize the amount of stress you put on your muscles.

2) Do compound workouts:
Compound workouts are the cream of the crop when it comes to building muscle. Why? Because they are the most brutal. Besides that they also target multiple muscles through one workout which allows to maximize your workouts and get them done more quickly. So when planning a workout schedule make sure to make squats, bench press, deadlifts, bent rows and other compound workouts as the focal points of your workouts if you really want to see incredible muscle gains.

3) Increase strength on a continuous basis:
You won’t get anywhere with your muscle building goals if you keep lifting the same weights over and over again. This is why it is crucial to always increase the intensity of your workouts. Your goal for every workout is to out do your last workout whether that be by increasing the weight you use, the number or reps or the number sets. Keep this up and not only will you get stronger but also bigger.

4) Eat! Eat! Eat!: You probably already knew that this was coming. Nutrition is probably the most important factor in determining your muscle gains. Without fuel your body will not perform and so it is important to keep on re-fueling your body. You will have to eat a balanced proportion of fats, carbs and proteins and a lot of them in order to build muscle. Just like how you train your body to workout you will have to re-train your body to eat right.

5) Sleep:
You will need to get at least 8 hours of sleep for optimal results. Your body does not grow when you workout but rather when you rest. In fact when you are working out you are destroying and tearing your muscle fibers so that they can be repaired and come back stronger while you rest. So don’t forget to take care of this, often overlooked, aspect of bodybuilding.

So there you have it. Five proven strategies to build quick msucle. Remember that discipline is number one factor in determining whether or not you will achieve your goals and if you stick with the strategies mentioned above you will gain muscle and get that ripped physique in no time at all.
