Building muscle is a process that takes time and proper techniques. You have got to eat right workout hard, all while making sure you get enough rest for your muscles to grow. If you have ever wondered how build muscle, well then wonder no more. Just follow these basic techniques and you will be well on your way to building muscle and achieving the muscle physique.

Step 1: Lift Weights

You can not grow if you do not give your body a reason to grow. That is why the first step to building muscle and gaining weight is to lift weights.

When you lift weights, make sure to lift heavy. This will put more stress on your muscles, causing them to come back bigger and stronger. Always keep pushing your muscles and keep on increasing the amount of weight you lift as you get stronger. Step 2: Eat Right

Nutrition is the biggest factor in determining whether or not you will build muscle. It is not only important to eat a lot but also to eat right. Focus on lean protein rich foods such as fish, chicken, turkey, egg whites, milk, etc. Also eat a good balance of healthy carbs and fats such as brown rice, whole wheat bread and pasta, nuts, olive oil, etc. Finally eat lots and lots of fruits and vegetables and drink lots and lots of water. Step 3: Rest

Rest is often the most overlooked factor when it comes to building muscle. Resting allows your body to recuperate from your workouts thus keeping you fresh and energized for your next workout session.

In addition your muscles grow while you rest and not while you are working them out. So to see idea results, make sure to get somewhere between 8-10 hours of sleep a day. My Final Take

Anyone can build muscles, but most people do not follow the right techniques to do so. They might workout properly but not provide the right nutrition that their body needs to grow or might eat right but not lift enough. In order to maximize your result you have to have the right combination of weight lifting, nutrition, and sleep. My weight gain routine highlights all of what I have said here in addition to more pointers.

So when you are ready, hit the gym hard, eat like and animal and then sleep like a baby and you will gain muscle in no time.
